Welcome to the official site of the Saints Joachim and Anna Romanian Orthodox Church!
To the companionship of the chosen ones of God, the divine parents Joachim and Anna, as to those who gave birth to the Mother of our Life, the blessed Virgin Mary, we, your supplicants, bring songs of praise to you; and you, as those who have boldness towards God, guard us with your prayers from all dangers, we who sing: Rejoice, thrice-blessed parents!
Consecration of Our Church
We warmly invite you to the consecration of our church on Saturday, November 21, 2026. This moment marks the crowning of a work for which many sacrifices have been made, much labor has been offered, much generosity has been shown, and, above all, much prayer has been lifted up. We hope that this day will remain not only in the history of our parish, but also in the hearts of each one of us, as a testimony to God’s work and to what can be born when a community remains united in faith, love, and self‑sacrifice, despite all the obstacles it encounters. We kindly ask you to keep this date in your calendars and to prepare together—spiritually and prayerfully—for this great day.
After the Divine Liturgy, we will continue the joy of the celebration with a fellowship meal – a moment of communion and heartfelt closeness. In order to help us organize as well as possible and prepare everything needed for all who wish to join us, we kindly ask you to confirm your attendance using this link: https://forms.gle/WAJntJZwkXGS1FBJ8
